I'll admit I'm not a mycologist, but doing it in the bathroom seems like a really bad idea. Given the elevated moister and heat, it seems like it would have more airborne containments than other rooms.

I believe my mono just did this. Everything went amazing started seeing pins.!!! Then boom nothing 1 tiny tiny mushroom. Waited a month and nothing finally dumped it today. Believe i seen some lind of mold in the substrate even smelled. Did not even get 1 flush

I have to disagree with using 70% isopropyl for sanitization.... I use my own glucose based, grain alcohol @ 90%... because it leaves almost no residue after ive hit it with the heat gun other than an almost mico amount of reside that the shroomies can actually eat....

All genetics. I don’t know if I can mention strains? But one spore in oats was one of my fastest growing and strongest fruits ever. That also goes for all in one bags. Healthy genetics will make it.

Question: do you continue to fan the mushrooms through the entire fruiting process? Or is there a ‘rule of thumb’ for when it doesn’t require the fanning anymore?
